Tag friends and other people in your network. Switch this up on the regular to hit every possible viewer that may be interested.

Just like with Youtube, interact with your viewers. Answer questions or mention them in the broadcast.

Throw in a giveaway or discount code or something that viewers can use. Great content is awesome, but throw in a freebie or two to really give your broadcast the extra edge.

Battle of the Sexes

Pinterest is the King, or Queen, depending on how you want to look at it, of social media for females.

Like Youtube, it’s a search engine, and it’s a powerful one, with almost 200 million monthly users.

Over 50% of millennials have a Pinterest account.

You can pin your video content to a board. Not only that, you can create boards that are nothing but you video content.

Maximize you cross-marketing efforts with links to your blog and Facebook page.

Always include links with you member number to make sure you’re compensated.

Lastly, don’t forget about the dudes.

With holidays like Father’s Day and Christmas, everyone wonders what to get Dad.

Shave oils, beard oils, aftershaves, even shampoos and conditioners can make for great DIY gifts.

A lot of people in the essential oil game don’t market to males very well.

Many of them are just as interested in a healthier lifestyle as their female counterparts.

Opening up to the male market will help to sell products that may not move as well to your female audience. Woodsy scents like cedar and sandalwood are perfect for DIY colognes and skin care products.

They pair nicely with relaxing oil scents as well as wood polishes and other cleaning supplies. Discuss the multiple uses that manly scents have.

So try incorporating the occasional bearded friend into your videos to show male viewers/appreciators just how much your product can benefit them. Make up some beard oil and laugh and have a good time as you record your friend or husband massaging the oil into his mane.

This is just one example of how you can market to the underutilized half of the population.
